BKW is the largest grid operator in Switzerland serving 1 million customers and cited its diversification into an energy solutions provider.

“We are delighted to have found a strong partner like BKW, which also shares our values and is close to us geographically,” said Frank Schlichting, CEO, Solare Datensysteme. “And this means our key unique selling point of vendor independence will remain unaffected.”

Solare Datensysteme’s monitoring tools can be used with any inverter. It will also benefit from access to BKW’s customers as well as the ability to become involved with power trading.
