Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), part of Abdul Latif Jameel Energy, has closed US$180 million of financing for two PV projects in northern Jordan.

The International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Canadian government have partnered up to finance Jordan’s latest US$76 million solar plant.

Developers including Italy’s Enel Green Power and Saudi Arabia’s ACWA Power and Abdul Latif Jameel (ALJ) have pulled out of the running for the upcoming 350MW solar tender in Abu Dhabi.
