MNRE extends ALMM List-II exemption for net-metering and open access solar projects

India's renewable energy ministry has extended the exemption from the ALMM List-II on PV cells for net-metering and open-access solar projects until the end of December 2026.

India’s MNRE expands ALMM List-II to 27.8GW, adds HJT cells for the first time

India’s MNRE has expanded the ALMM List-II for solar cells to 27.8GW, and added HJT cells for the first time.
The updated list features domestic manufacturers such as Premier Energies and Adani Group, both of which have secured approvals for additional cell models.
