The facility manufactures G12 n-type TOPCon solar cells, with a manufacturer-declared highest listed average cell efficiency of 25.89%. The company’s G12 full-cell model has a declared maximum power output of 11.81W per cell.

The 7.117GW figure represents annual enlisted nameplate manufacturing capacity.

The latest enlistment follows Avaada’s addition to the eighth revision of ALMM List-II in July 2026, when it received approval for two n-type TOPCon cell models: half-cut G12 cells with an average efficiency of 25.63% and average output of 5.65Wp, and full-cell G12 cells with an average efficiency of 25.57% and average output of 11.28Wp.

The July enlistment, covering both 18-busbar cell designs, is valid from 22 July 2026 to 21 July 2030.

More recently, Avaada Electro signed a domestic supply agreement with Vikram Solar for 1GW of ALMM-compliant n-type G12R TOPCon solar cells.

Under the agreement, the company will supply half-cut cells for Vikram’s module manufacturing operations, with deliveries scheduled to begin in September 2026. According to the companies, the deal was valued at approximately INR12.5 billion (US$150 million).

Avaada unveils 745Wp DCR TOPCon solar module at REI Expo 2026

In other news, Avaada launched its 745Wp domestic content requirement (DCR) n-type TOPCon solar module at the Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo 2026 in Greater Noida.

The glass-to-glass module has a declared efficiency of 23.98% and features a 132-half-cell configuration and 18-busbar architecture.

Avaada also showcased its portfolio of n-type TOPCon modules, including products rated at up to 640Wp with efficiencies of up to 23.7%, alongside G12R and G12 DCR offerings rated at up to 745Wp.

The three-day REI Expo was held from 22-24 October at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.

Avaada said it has 6GW of solar cell manufacturing capacity, comprising 3GW operational capacity and an additional 3GW line at an advanced stage of commissioning. Its operational solar module manufacturing capacity stands at 8.5GW.

The company also presented its rooftop solar kits and HALO battery energy storage system (BESS). HALO uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery technology and a hybrid inverter, with modular configurations of up to four stacked units.

The system offers up to 10kW of continuous power, rising to 11.5kW with solar support during power outages, subject to operating conditions.
