The modules are based on 3Sun's CORE-H technology and will be commercially available in 2024. They are produced at the Enel Green Power subsidiary's factory in Catania, Italy.
Enel Green Power (EGP) has partnered with the Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems (IMM) of the National Research Council (NRC) to create a dedicated laboratory to explore renewable energy technologies, and in particular, develop bifacial PV modules.
