Enfinity Global has sold a 49% equity interest in its 402MW portfolio of solar plants in Italy to the SOFAZ.

Enfinity Global has secured €100 million from Eiffel Investment Group to advance its solar PV and battery energy storage system (BESS) portfolio in Europe.

Enfinity Global said the power from the sites is “earmarked to cater to government utilities, as well as C&I customers.”

Consisting of three utility-scale solar projects in the central region of Lazio, the projects are expected to be operational by 2026.

Pine Gate Renewables and Enfinity Global have secured financing, and ENGIE has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Google.

Consisting of eight utility-scale PV projects, which will be located in the central and northern Italian regions of Lazio and Emilia Romagna.

Enfinity Global is currently building 416MW of capacity in Italy across 17 projects, which have secured long-term power purchase agreements.

The power purchase agreement consists of a portfolio of six solar PV projects located in the Italian regions of Lazio and Emilia Romagna.
