Latin America-focused solar developer Atlas Renewable Energy has started operations at a 244MWp solar PV plant in Antofagasta, Chile. that will generate 714GWh annually.

Atlas sells 550GWh of solar to Engie Energía in Chile

The Sol del Desierto solar plant in Antofagasta region, set to be operational by January 2022, will help Chile transition off coal and reach its goal of being carbon neutral by 2050.
