Masdar’s 308MWp solar PV project in Azerbaijan begins operation

UAE-owned renewable energy company Masdar's 308MWp Garadagh (Area 60) Solar PV project has commenced operation.
Aiming to quadruple the country’s renewable energy capacity from 30GW to 120GW by 2035, the announcement follows a visit to Turkey by a UAE delegation led by Masdar CEO Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi. Image: Masdar

Masdar inks deals to build 1GW solar and wind projects in Azerbaijan

The agreements cover two solar projects and one onshore wind project as they are the first phase of a 10GW pipeline of renewables projects in Azerbaijan signed in 2022.
