The Jamaican government has announced a tender to procure renewables of up to 100MW.

Jamaican utility company Jamaica Public Service (JPS) has signed off on a power purchase agreement with renewable energy developer Eight Rivers Energy for a 37MW PV project.

Global Energy Services (GES) announced Wednesday that it has completed the construction of the first utility-scale solar plant in Jamaica.
