Solar developer Recurrent Energy has secured a €110 million (US$119 million)multi-currency finance facility to support the development of its global solar PV and energy storage project pipeline.
Recurrent Energy, the project development subsidiary of Chinese solar manufacturer Canadian Solar, has closed financing for the 119MW Horus Solar project in the region of Aguascalientes, Mexico.
Recurrent Energy, the solar project development subsidiary of global solar manufacturer Canadian Solar, has secured a US$500 million equity investment from Blackrock, the world's largest asset manager.
Canadian Solar says the private placement provided the company with enhanced liquidity and flexible funds to grow its subsidiary Recurrent Energy's global business.
