UK-based global renewables developer Lightsource bp has secured investment for two utility-scale PV projects in Texas, one of which is backed by a newly signed off-take deal with the clothing brand H&M.
Recurrent Energy, the renewables developer arm of solar manufacturer Canadian Solar, has reached commercial operation of its 100MW solar PV project in Texas, US.
SB said the "Orion Solar Belt", located in Milam County, northwest of Houston, is expected to qualify for the domestic content bonus credit included under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA).
