An IRENA report into the cost of producing power has found that the levelised cost of electricity in the solar PV sector fell by 3% in 2022.

German utility giant RWE has issued a green bond with a volume of €2 billion (US$2.1 billion), the proceeds of which will be used to pursue development of solar and wind projects.

The developer will see its trade financing facility swell to €200 million (US$220 million) after striking an agreement with Dutch bank ABN AMRO.
