DakkS has issued the Japan-based testing facilities of TÜV Rheinland with ANSI/UL 1703 testing accreditation. This compliments the existing JNLA, ASNITE and the CBTL recognition already held by the facility, as well as allowing combined testing sequences with IEC and ANSI.

“The trend to use photovoltaic as a clean energy source has gained importance in recent years,” said Stefan Kiehn, head of the PV testing facilities at TÜV Rheinland Japan. “The new accreditation is an indicator that we are committed to offer highest quality services for clients in Japan and the rest of the world. With the ANSI/UL 1703 accreditation, we not only expand our capabilities but also ensure fast track certification for IEC and ANSI.”
