WINAICO gains JET certification for WST and WSP PV modules

Taiwan-based PV module producer, WINAICO, has obtained the Japan Electrical Safety and Environment Technology (JET) certifications for its WST and WSP PV series modules.

The JET certification is normally granted to each model of products after the successful completion of tests based on the IEC/IEC harmonised JIS standards. A factory inspection at the manufacturing location is also undertaken.

In addition to JET, WINAICO said it had a complete portfolio of certificates from TUV and UL, and also passed the most stringent hail stone and PID tests. 

“WINAICO modules can be found all over Japan, not to mention the commercial and utility scale installations in Hokkaido and Ishigaki island,” said Loftur Thorarinsson, representative director of WINAICO Japan K.K.
