Unisolar files for insolvency, Photon reports

Spain-based BIPV firm Unisolar, also known as Soliker, filed for insolvency on September 6, Photon has confirmed after speaking with the general manager of the company.

Local news site Bejar al Dia has also reported that the company has started to lay-off its workforce. PV-Tech’s sister website Design Build Solar has contacted the company to confirm the lay-offs but has so far had no response.
