AEG Power Solutions appoints new VP of solar business unit

Effective immediately, AEG Power Solutions has appointed Bob Roos as VP for its Solar Business unit. This role will involve providing a worldwide growth strategy of the solar business which includes solar inverters, systems and monitoring tools for solar power plants. His primary tasks include the international expansion especially in Eastern Europe, India and North America, forming strategic partnerships and focusing on the utility scale and large commercial segments.

“We are pleased to have found an experienced manager to pursue our global solar strategy, to reach the ambitious goals we have in this field and to succeed Enrique de la Cruz who regrettably has decided to leave the company for personal reasons”, explains Horst Kayser, AEG Power Solutions CEO. “Bob Roos’ time as managing director of Ecostream Spain and PV Solutions in Barcelona has given him deep knowledge and first-hand experience of the fast moving global PV solar industry and its challenges and opportunities.”
