Rabbani revealed that the project would require an investment of around US$900 million and will be developed by CK Solar Korea on a total of 607 hectares of leased land in the towns of Khuchlak and Pishin.
He added that the facility would also help Balochistan to meet the electricity demand in the province which has been suffering from a shortfall in electricity.
Furthermore, it would provide electricity to areas which rely on kerosene lamps as they lack a reliable electricity supply.
