Bosch Solar Energy and subsidiary Johanna Solar Technology have completed the BIPV installation on the Schwager department store in the centre of Holzminden, Lower Saxony, Germany. The 21kWp façade system is the first of its kind to be installed by Bosch.
The project was focused around renovating the department store’s curtain wall, which was built in the 1970s.

The Johanna Solar Technology CIS solar modules are expected to generate approximately 19,000kWh of electricity annually across the 300m2 of the department store’s south façade.
