Canadian Solar supplies modules for PV systems at Spanish university

Canadian Solar has supplied 2.5MW of modules for two Siemens’s projects in southern Spain. The CS6X modules will power a carport and rooftop system at the University of Murcia.

This Siemens contract is the latest supply deal Canadian Solar has signed in Europe in 2011, as the manufacturer looks to expand its presence on the continent. The company has already supplied modules for utility-scale projects in Italy, Germany and the UK and at the start of the month OPDE chose Canadian Solar modules for its 8.8MW system in Ablitas, Spain.
