ChemTrace establishes micro-contamination analytical testing lab in Taiwan

ChemTrace, which offers micro-contamination testing of solar substrates, wafering, and cell manufacturing equipment has established a new testing laboratory in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

Covering both semiconductor and PV sectors the lab was said to be an exact copy of existing facilities in other high-tech regions, catering for process tool parts cleaning, surface treatment, refurbishment, analytical and engineering services.

Demand from existing customers in the region to establish a local presence was said to have been a key reason for establishing the new facility.
