Clenergy opens solar EPC business in China

Sino-Australian mounting manufacturer Clenergy has developed an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) arm that will begin operations in China soon.

The new subsidiary, Clenergy (Xiamen) Energy Engineering Company, forms part of the group’s wider expansion plans in China.

The focus will initially be in the Fujian Province where Clenergy already has an agreement with CGN Solar Energy and the Fujian New Energy Industry Alliance.

The new company will work to develop distributed power projects in Fujian imminently. No further details have been released.

CGN and Clenergy have an agreement for 300MW of projects in Lijiang in Yunnan province.

HuaiBin Xue has been appointed as the vice general manager of the new subsidiary with the management team drawn from a number of leading EPCs in China, according to Clenergy.
