Clenergy was chosen for the project because its mounting system was said to be well suited to the site’s harsh climatic conditions, where high and snow are a regular feature.

Clenergy has optimised its mounting system specifically for the project and the prevailing conditions.
The mounting system used for the project incorporates many of the features of its standard issue PV-ezRack system, but has been re-engineered to be lighter and easier to install.
Xinjiang has rich solar energy resources — the region’s average annual sunshine of 3,500 hours is the second highest in the country.
