Euro Projects has chosen Emerson as inverter supplier for its two recently-completed installations in Sardinia, Italy. The combined capacity of the two systems, located adjacent to one another in the municipality of Villaperuccio, is 10MW and Emerson will equip both sites with its utility-scale power inverters and management systems.

“We have a long-standing relationship with Emerson, so when this multi-array project came across my radar, Emerson was an obvious choice,” said Euro Projects’ president and owner, Marco Lupini. “It is so important for us to have ongoing assurance, and Emerson's strong financial stability and dependable, long-term warranty service capabilities were attractive to us. We firmly believe that working with Emerson helps position our company as a leader among alternative energy programs globally.”

Work on the Villaperuccio project, which was financed and developed by Euro Projects, finished in July and it will generate enough energy to power more than 3,200 Sardinian homes.

“The Euro Projects plants are another example of Emerson's commitment to generating renewable energy,” added Emerson’s Mark Bulanda. “We are pleased to be working with them, and we are happy to have this opportunity to supply critical technology to some of the largest and most innovative solar projects in Italy.”
