EPOD’s CEO takes the helm at DayStar as companies merge

Appearing once again in the news, DayStar Technologies has shaken up its management with a new CEO appointment. Michael Matvieshen, CEO of EPOD Solar which recently announced a merger with DayStar, will replace Robert Aldrich (pictured) who recently resigned from his four-month CEO role.

Matvieshen will serve as CEO and as a director of the new entity pursuant to the terms of the LOI which was agreed upon on September 21st.

Daystar’s new leader served as EPOD’s president and CEO from 2003 until the recently announced merger, prior to which he held various executive roles in oil upgrading companies such as Wolverine Resources and Gen5 Tech. He has 15 years’ experience in the technology development business and has 23 years of expertise in the land development sector.
