This summer solar developer Espe Sunparc connected a 10MW PV portfolio, spanning five regions, to Italy's power grid. All 10 projects were installed between July and August and are located in Veneto, Marche, Molise, Lazio and Apulia.
The portfolio is expected to generate 14 million kWh of electricity per annum. Around 40,000 crystalline silicon panels were used during construction and each site will be fitted with Espe’s SSK15 solar trackers.
