Vertically integrated manufacturer ET Solar has supplied 2.56MW of its mono-crystalline modules for a PV project in France.

ET Solar was project developer Classic Energy’s sole module supplier for the array, which was installed on an agricultural greenhouse rooftop in the southern French commune of Cruas. Tritec was contracted as system integrator and the project was grid connected last month.

Despite being based in China, the last few years has seen ET rapidly expand its European operation and chief executive officer Dennis She is optimistic that the contract will pave the way for further business in France. “We are very pleased to be the exclusive module supplier to the greenhouse project that represents an increasingly exciting market segment,” She said. “The experience that we acquired from the transaction will clearly strengthen our ability to be a more significant contributor to the growing French PV market.”

“ET Solar has demonstrated to be a trusted partner with bankable module products, value-added services and robust sales and engineering support that have contributed greatly to the timely completion of this project,” Alexander Schumann, Cruas’s technical director, added.
