Chinese inverter manufacturer GoodWe Solar Inverter has proposed plans to rebuild its logistics system in the UK, Ireland and other countries, yet to be specified, in cooperation with DSV, an international logistics company. The partnership involves logistics service, bonded warehouse and product delivery in the UK and Ireland.
Independent, bank-approved engineering firm BEW recently gave Tigo Energy a positive bankability report, which casts Tigo Energy’s PV optimizer as suitable for deployment in commercial and utility-scale bank-owned solar systems.

Enecsys has entered a partnership with Albasolar, the company has announced. The micro-inverter manufacturer has partnered with Albasolar to open new distribution channels in the residential market. Enecsys sells its micro-inverters in 15 different countries and its products comply with international certifications and frequency requirements.
Inverter supplier Santerno has been awarded a supply contract worth 155MW for its skid inverter stations to be installed in an Imperial Valley, California solar plant. The company is yet to disclose further details on the project.

SMA Solar Technology has received Japan Electrical Safety and Environment Technology Laboratories (JET) certification, the company has announced. The company has opened sales and service subsidiaries in Japan at the beginning of 2012 and has obtained the JET certification for its Sunny Boy 3500TL-JP-22 and Sunny Boy 4500TL-JP-22 inverters. SMA will commence selling the two inverters on the Japanese market from October this year. The PV inverters have been modified for the Japanese market and for the requirements of Japanese PV plants.
Power One is showcasing the second generation of Aurora microinverters at Intersolar Europe, the company has announced. The Aurora Micro-0.3-I, with an output of 300W and the Aurora Micro-0.25-I, with an output of 250W have undergone 12 months of designing and testing. The two models have undergone some improvements compared to the former models and are now able to offer broader DC input with a maximum of 65Vdc.
Eltek is showcasing its extended line of THEIA solar inverters at Intersolar Europe, the company has announced. The company will be exhibiting the new THEIA 4.6 HE-t inverter with an output of 4.6kWp. Further, the THEIA TL 3R will be on display, a transformerless solar inverter with an output of up to 15kW.
Solectria Renewables has announced that a 1MW PV installation equipped with its inverters has been commissioned by the Santa Barbara Board of Supervisors to provide energy to the Calle Real Campus. The installation is further equipped with 4,500 SolarWorld modules. EPC services provider Endelos Energy and the Santa Barbara County agreed to only use American-made products for the PV array.
