GoodWe has taken part in PV storage testing by the University of Applied Sciences (HTW) in Berlin for the third consecutive year, with a total of 21 different storage systems in the 5 and 10 kilowatt power classes examined to determine System Performance Index (SPI). The two GoodWe hybrid inverters tested, the ET and EH, achieved an SPI of 93.4% and 91.2% respectively, together with BYD batteries.

LONGi has announced that it has won a contract to supply 406MW of its Hi-MO 5 bifacial modules to the SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Company for Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea Project. Located on the Kingdom’s west coast, the project will be completely powered by renewable energy on a scale not previously achieved anywhere in the world, with energy to be generated via solar panels and wind turbines to meet initial demand of 210MW, with further expansion planned.
