Juwi said it had signed two EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contracts with a consortium of BIM Group of Vietnam and AC Energy of Philippines, to build a 50MW and a 30MW plant in Ninh Thuan province.

PV project developer and EPC firm, juwi Renewable Energy has entered the Vitenam market after securing contracts to build two large-scale PV power plants in Ninh Thuan province, Vietnam.

Juwi said it had signed two EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contracts with a consortium of BIM Group of Vietnam and AC Energy of Philippines, to build a 50MW and a 30MW plant in Ninh Thuan province.

“For juwi, these projects represent a significant milestone in Vietnam as we continue to expand our footprints into the country’s fast-growing solar market,” stated, Valerie Speth, juwi’s Regional Director for the Asia Pacific Region. “Once completed, the plants are expected to add more than 125 million kilowatt hours of clean electricity to Vietnam’s national grid annually.”

On completion of the projects, juwi will also undertake O&M services at the two plants for at least  the next five years, according to the company.
