“This could be a game-changing renewable energy technology” said Silex CEO, Michael Goldsworthy on the commercial use of ‘dense array’ CPV dishes.

The park was funded with A$10 million from the Victorian State Government and Federal Government, previously A$120 in government funding was predicted for the project.

The grand opening for the park will be held on the 17 July, and attended by Victorian energy and resources minister, Nicholas Kotsiras.

Plans are also under way for a 100MW park in Mildura, subject to funding, with construction starting in 2014.
