Mage Powertec Plus modules installed on Deichman Logistics Centre roof

Mage Solar has supplied Deichmann Logistics Centre in Soltau, Germany, a 605kWp PV system. Over 2,600 polycrystalline Mage powertec plus modules will cover 11,600 square metres of a flat roof area. The modules have a power rating of 230W each and generate around 540,000kWh of solar energy.

Construction of the Powertec Plus modules began in June this year after its unveiling at Intersolar Europe.

The modules were installed with the Mage Safetec Flex mounting system, designed specifically for flat and foil-covered roofs. Due to the extremely lightweight construction, with a distributed load of less than 10kg per square metre including modules, the building statics are not affected. Without penetrating the roof membrane and with low ballasting in peripheral areas, the mounting system provides stability even in the highest wind load zones due to its aerodynamic construction.

The installation of the system was carried out by Sunrider Solar from Nortorf, Germany.
