The chairman of Sunways management board, Michael Wilhelm, has resigned his position with immediate effect, it has been announced.
In a statement issued today, the company’s supervisory board expressed its regret over Wilhelm’s decision, while stressing the company’s gratitude for his “great commitment” over the years.

It is planned that Mario Zen, currently Vice-President of Business Development at LDK Solar, will succeed Michael Wilhelm and will be appointed as a member of the management board in February 2013.
Until that time, Jörg von Strom, who is currently a member of the Sunways management board in charge of procurement, production and supply chain, will act as speaker of the management board.
