Both projects are to be built in Taltal, Antofagasta Province in the Antofagasta Region.
Project Pampa Sur will have 90.9MW of 240-280Wp solar panels installed and Project Pampa Norte will have 90.6MW of the same solar panels installed.
The SEA recently approved another 108MW of PV capacity, and this September an estimated 127MW of solar was under development, with a total of 4.9GW total pipeline for PV projects in Chile, according to the country's renewable energy centre, CER.
The two newly approved projects are to aid Chile in reaching its 20% renewable energy generation target for 2020.
