Southern California Edison (SCE) and SunLink announced the signing of a master supply agreement for the use of SunLink’s rooftop solar mounting solution. The SunLink system will be used in the next step of SCE’s solar generation program.

“SunLink is proud to help SCE roll out one of the largest and most cost effective rooftop PV programs in the country,” said Christopher Tilley, CEO, SunLink. “SCE’s selection of SunLink is yet another validation of our effort to provide a roof friendly PV mounting system that can be deployed cost-effectively at large scale.”

SunLink’s mounting solution will be used for the installation of up to 50MW of PV panels on various commercial rooftops in San Bernardino and eastern LA counties by mid-2011. This new contract amounts for 20% of SCE’s 250MW building plan for owner-installed and -operated PV systems in the next five years.
