PV Powered appoints Dr. Steven Hummel to VP of Engineering role

Ex-Nanometrics Vice President of advanced technology Dr. Steven G.
Hummel has been enlisted to the PV Powered team as vice president of
engineering.  His new role will see him focus specifically on product
development for the solar solutions company. 

Prior to his time at Nanometrics, Dr. Hummel held the role of CTO at
Accent Optical Technologies.  He began his career with Bell
Laboratories as a member of the technical staff, after which he
progressed to roles such as director of engineering at Nova Crystals
and principal scientist at Agilent/Hewlett-Packard.

A
much-published author and holder of several patents, some pending, Dr.
Hummel has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and a master’s degree in
engineering from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. in electrical
engineering from the University of Southern California.

PV Powered is a photovoltaic module manufacturer.
