“To date, in collaboration with international EPC companies, we have installed our monitoring and control system in more than 4.5GWp of solar power plants, 3 GWp of which are equipped with our plant controller,” said Alberto Gallego, product marketing manager at skytron energy. “With cETLus listing now completed across our entire functional range, we are happy to be part of the exciting, fast growing US solar market.”

Skytron’s solar applications cover the ‘ArrayGuard’ series of combiner boxes for DC distribution and real-time string current measurement; skyCONNi field sensors for irradiation, weather and status monitoring.

The company also supplies its skylog data loggers, skycontrol plant controller for grid stability and balancing functions and the PVGuard remote supervision platform, which has recently been enhanced with improved SCADA software capabilities for energy production planning, performance analysis and system integration.
