Inverter and smart energy manufacturer SolarEdge has a back catalogue of solar-themed parody videos but this year’s effort, Solar Joy, has raised the bar.

Moving on from the art of parody (see last year’s here) this year’s is a four minute 22 second musical set in the near-future about the overthrow of fossil fuels by solar power…it’s hard to explain so you’ll just have to watch!

A personal highlight for me is the excellent Lior Handelsman blasting out the line “I’m shrinking my footprint, baby!”.

It goes without saying that all the firm’s employees across the globe who participated in the video are great sports so an extra happy holidays to them from all at PV Tech!
