Suniva modules used in 5MW West Tennessee Solar Farm

One of the largest installations in the Southeast US has been completed using US-based Suniva modules. The 5MW solar power plant located in Haywood County, Tennessee was Designed and built by Signal Energy, and managed by the University of Tennessee Research Foundation (UTRF).

“Signal Energy is pleased to be working with Suniva and the University of Tennessee, and the Department of Economic and Community Development to move Tennessee’s clean energy industry forward,” said Ben Fischer, president of Signal Energy. “The West Tennessee Solar Farm showcases that Tennessee is well positioned to emerge as a national leader in the clean energy economy, with the solar industry leading the way.”

West Tennessee Solar Farm is expected to generate more than 7 million kWh of electricity on an annual basis. The cost of the project was not disclosed.
