Complete Solaria

US residential solar company Complete Solaria will change its name to SunPower, resurrecting the name of one of the US' longest-running solar companies which folded last year.

The winning bid from SunPower assets are the Blue Raven Solar business, New Homes business and non-installing Dealer network.

The stalking horse bid from Complete Solaria was set at US$45 million earlier this month when SunPower filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

SunPower also entered into an asset purchase agreement with residential solar company Complete Solaria to serve as the stalking horse buyer.

Solar manufacturer Maxeon Solar Technologies has acquired selected assets from California-headquartered solar company Complete Solaria.

PV module producer Solaria Corporation will merge with solar services provider Complete Solar, the US companies announced today.
