IPP and renewable energy solutions provider Coronal Energy, powered by Panasonic, and Dominion Energy announced this week that they are developing a new PV facility in Essex County, Virginia.

Virginia governor Terry McAuliffe signed 11 bills earlier this week that promote solar and other renewable energy resources such as pumped hydro.

Major US power firm and utility Dominion plans to acquire a 79MW solar PV project that is currently under construction in Anson County, North Carolina, from solar company Cypress Creek Renewables.
