UK-based IPP Enviromena has signed a £825 million (US$1.1 billion) financing package to support its 1GW solar PV portfolio in the UK.

UAE-based developer Enviromena is pushing its project pipeline towards 1GW.

After finalising plans to install a rooftop PV project atop the facility of Gulf Center for Soap & Chemical Industries (GCSCI) in Dubai, officials from the Abu Dhabi-based Enviromena Power Systems acknowledged that commercial solar might be on the verge of a boom in the UAE.

UAE-based, Enviromena Power Systems, a clean energy developer based in Abu Dhabi, has been bought by UK-based, Arjun Infrastructure Partners (AIP).
