Swiss-owned solar manufacturer Meyer Burger has clarified the terms of its recently-announced rights issue, designed to raise money towards its US manufacturing expansion plans.
The statement came on the same day that European solar manufacturing stalwart Meyer Burger announced plans to abandon its module assembly plant in Germany because of the lack of support afforded to manufacturers in Europe.
The influx of Chinese modules to Europe, EU's revised solar capacity targets and manufacturing expansion plans in the US were some of the major issues happened in Q3 2023.
