Western Australia network operator Western Power has confirmed it has granted two more network connection offers to two new large-scale renewable energy projects, bringing its total for 2024/25 to 759MW.

Power and communications infrastructure provider GenusPlus Group has been awarded a contract to develop the proposed Clean Energy Link – North Region project set to expand Western Australia’s South West Interconnected System (SWIS).

AEMO has confirmed that demand in South Australia and Victoria hit a historic low, as solar PV achieves winter record levels on NEM and SWIS.
