Portugal’s second solar auction has closed with record-breaking low prices of €11.14/mWh (US$13.12), the country’s government announced this afternoon.
Spain’s Solarpack and Italy’s Enel are amongst the winners of Solar Energy Corporation of India’s (SECI) latest utility-scale solar tender, which has tempted record-low bids from parties involved.
Newly selected winners will bring 460MW of solar and nearly 3GWh of energy storage to Aloha State, a fleet of 16 projects across Oahu, Maui and Hawaii Island.
