Trina Solar appoints two new VPs

Trina Solar has announced two new executive
appointments to its team. Anthony Chia joins the company as Vice
President of quality, while Dave Seburn has been named as Vice
President of polysilicon.

“We are pleased and excited to welcome such talented
individuals as Mr. Chia and Mr. Seburn to the Trina Solar team,” said
Mr. Jifan Gao (pictured), Trina Solar’s Chairman and CEO. “Both
gentlemen will greatly strengthen our resources in quality control,
long-term cost reduction and raw material procurement as we continue to
pursue a leading position in the global solar PV market.”

Mr.
Chia’s previous employs were as Director of service and quality for
SANMINA-SCI, and also worked with Motorola as Senior Manager of quality
assurance.  He has an M.B.A. from the National University of Singapore.

Mr.
Seburn joins the company from a 10-year tenure at REC Silicon, most
recently serving as VP of operations. He has a master’s degree in
chemical engineering from the University of Houston.

Mohan Naranayan, former VP of technology for Trina Solar, has left his post for personal reasons.

Trina Solar Ltd. is an integrated solar module manufacturer based in Changzhou, China.
