All ten of the plants were commissioned in 2012 and 2013. The two largest plants are based in Suelte, Mecklenburg, and Schwarzheide, Brandenburg, and rated at 10MW each.
The remaining 8 plants, totaling 28MW are scattered across developments in eastern Germany.
Wattner claims its SunAsset 2 and SunAsset 3 funds – which the €60 million for the ten plants was taken from – are now fully invested with a total of €374 million (US$500 million).
