WIRSOL appoints Mark Hogan to board of directors

International solar provider WIRSOL has appointed Mark Hogan as a new member of its board of directors.

The decision by WIRSOL’s supervisory board was unanimous, inaugurating English native Hogan as the president of international business development, taking over WIRSOL’s oversees sales and business. WIRSOL has offices across Europe, America and Asia.

After his inauguration as a new board member, Hogan said: “During the last years, WIRSOL evolved into a company of international format. Having very exciting projects in our pipeline, we will continue to follow this course.”

Founder and member of the executive board Markus Wirth said Hogan’s appointment demonstrated WIRSOL’s “commitment” to internationalisation.  

Hogan has worked for WIRSOL for two years and was previously senior vice president at inverter manfuacturer Power-One; he studied electrical and electronic engineering at the University of Brighton.
