Rudolph Technologies announced Wednesday that Tony Mullins will take up the role of director of global process control software sales immediately.
Mayson Brooks, Rudolph's vice president of global sales, believes that Mullins' experience will help him in the new position. "Tony brings a wealth of process control know-how to Rudolph," said Brooks. "Throughout his career, he has focused on advanced control applications for high tech industries, beginning with Advanced Micro Devices where he was a member of the team that implemented some of the first semiconductor run-to-run controllers in the industry."
Mullins co-founded the advanced process control consulting and development company WaterState Controls in 1998. The company received patents on key techniques under Mullins' leadership and was acquired by PRI Automation in 2001. Mullins has also been in multiple management positions at Brooks Automation, where he handled the creation and commercialisation of advanced process control and fault detection products for Brooks Software. Additionally, he spent the last two years of his career aiding small technology software companies with the development of global markets for their products.
Rudolph Technologies works in designing, developing, manufacting and supporting the high-performance process control metrology, defect inspection, data analysis systems and fabwide process control solutions used by semiconductor device manufacturers
The company has headquarters in New Jersey with branches in Asia and Europe.
