Yingli delays release of 2014 financial results

Leading solar panel manufacturer Yingli Green Energy announced today that it has filed for a 15-day extension of the due date to release its annual report for the year ended 31 December 2014.

The firm needs more time to prepare and review its consolidated financial statements and to complete an assessment of the effectiveness of its internal control over financial reporting.

Yingli Green's management expects to file its annual report before 15 May.

Last week PV Tech reported Yingli had netted RMB588.2 million (US$94.9 million) from the sale of land earmarked for the expansion of its in-house polysilicon operations.
