The facility is monitored and scheduled by the California Independent System Operator through a secure remote information gateway.

Electricity generated by the Gridley solar facility will be fed to two members of the Northern California Power Agency —the city of Gridley and the Bay Area Rapid Transit.

Tobin Booth, CEO of Blue Oak Energy, said: “This project will generate power economically for NCPA’s customers every year for the next twenty-plus years. We are thankful for the diligence and efforts from the City of Gridley, the NCPA, Arraycon and LightBeam Energy.”
